Raised in deepest darkest rural Dorset, at a young age Simon could often be found running around the garden with a length of twine whilst wearing a ripped shirt. He was re-enacting Indiana Jones and The Temple Of Doom obviously. Suffice to say, this love of make believe and fantasy proved to be an early indication of things to come.
Prior to East 15 Acting School, where Simon really honed his technique, he studied Theatre & Performance at The University of Plymouth. Whilst not being formal acting training, he was well educated in modern performance and developed a love of clowning that influences his decisions as an actor today. He also feels that during this time he learnt many life-skills, such as the bare minimum of sleep the body needs to survive, and keeping your whites and your coloureds separate in the wash.
Simon has been working as a professional actor since 2008, after graduating from East 15 Acting School. Career highlights include sharing the Old Vic stage with Kevin Spacey in Inherit the Wind in 2009, and being trusted with lead roles in major commercials for clients such as Pizza Hut, Pepsi and Visa.
Simon enjoys being creative in other forms too. In his spare time he enjoys playing his acoustic guitar and song writing, and he plays football at the weekends for a successful local London team.
